Big Hero 6

If you're like me, and you absolutely love Disney, then no matter how old you are, you were just waiting for this movie to come out so that you could watch it. The commercials looked too perfect! Plus it's Marvel too, so that's an added bonus.
Warning: due to the nature of this movie plot there will be spoilers in order to summarize any plot. Read at your discretion.
Hiro is a young robotics genius, who we later lean takes after his big brother, although it is implied that Hiro is far more intelligent as he is offered super early admission to his brother's university. Anyways, he creates nano bots which can essentially become and do anything a person wishes, so long as said person is wearing the mind control helmet thing (sorry I don't know the technical name). His brother encourages him to show them off at a science fair.
But I'm skipping ahead. His brother, Tadashi, has created a personal health care assistant robot named Baymax. He shows this off to Hiro while introducing his brother to his friends, also scientific geniuses: Gogo, Wasabi, and Honey Lemon (all nicknames of course). And then there's Fred who is more of a science groupy.
So back to the fair where all of them have supported Hiro in his invention. A sneaky investor guy wants to buy Hiro's invention and there are arguments between he and the professor about the integrity of this man's work and such. A fire breaks out at the fair, and everyone runs out, but the professor is not outside with everyone so Tadashi runs in to rescue him. Both men are taken by the fire, leaving Hiro without his role models. Furthermore, Hiro was already and orphan whose aunt had taken him in.
Hiro essentially gives up in school and his dreams, until the day he accidentally wakes Baymax. There are a lot of sweet, sad, and funny exchanges between these two.
Anyways, long story short, someone stole the nano bots and Hiro and Baymax find him producing more in an old warehouse. The man (in a mask) essentially turns them into a weapon so Hiro turns Baymax into a fighter, and Tadashi's (now Hiro's) friends help him by creating inventions and superhero personalities of their own. But how far are they willing to go to stop this evildoer? And who is he really?
It is an epic battle with some serious and somewhat unexpected plot twists.
A classic superhero movie and a classic Disney movie all wrapped into one, this is a perfect family film. Or you can watch it by yourself, or with friends; just go watch it!
